File Formats
i-fax.com supports the following image formats; JPEG, Adobe PDF, PNG, Group III TIF and Group IV TIFF.
Image Size
A typical 8.5" by 11" or A4 page processed by i-fax.com will occupy 15 Kb of disk storage. A one Gigabyte file system can store the equivalent of 8 4-drawer filing cabinets of paper using i-fax.com .
Capacity
i-fax.com can process a virtually unlimited number of documents per day.
Security
Your files are stored on your system, not on the i-fax.com server. Your files travel through the Internet encoded in Modified Huffman format and are very hard to decode in transit. If required, even higher levels of security are available for customers with special needs.
Redundancy
i-fax.com's servers are all mirrored in real time, to provide 24 hour, 7 day per week redundancy.
Plug-In
The i-fax.com Server Side Plug-In is available in Java, Perl, Visual Basic (VB), JSP, ASP, ASPX, XML, PHP, ColdFusion, .NET, C# and MS Word formats. The i-fax.com Plug-In can easily be installed on Windows NT®/2000, Unix and Linux web servers.
Bar Code Formats
The i-fax.com Server Side Plug-In can generate barcodes in Microsoft Word, Adobe PDF, HTML, GIF, SVG and BMP formats. i-fax.com barcodes can easily be integrated with your Web Server software or with applications that print documents, such as MS Word and Adobe Acrobat.
